5.7 rs Crore Gst Evasion Reported in first 5 months of FY18

The Government has discovered Goods and Service Tax (GST) evasion amounting to Rs 5.7 Crore in 16 Cases in the first five months of the ongoing fiscal.

Further, it found service tax evasion of Rs 9660 crore in a total of 2938 cases during April-December.

Evasion of central excise amounting to Rs 7242 crore in 614 cases was found During the same period.
